Vito Ciaverelli is the Chief Information Officer for Healthport,  offers the widest selection of affordable, quality, solutions and services in the industry! By combining knowledge, technology and services, we are committed to improving business processes for hospitals, physician practices and community health centers nationwide. Prior to Healthport Vito was the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for ista North America where he was responsible for the Development, QA and Project Management teams. During his tenure he implemented a new billing system, OCR and enhanced EDI operations. While market conditions have eliminated this latest role, Vito is busy exploring new business ventures and performing consulting roles within other organizations.
Before joining ista, Vito worked for Travelogix and was responsible for developing and maintaining 600 websites simultaneously, generating revenue of $100 million per year. Vito also worked for Microsoft Corporation where he was responsible for design and development of the MSN Network, MSNBC and Expedia. Vito is an exceptional software Engineering Executive with 30 years of contributions in software development products. His technical background includes success in managing globally dispersed teams, deploying software development processes, and reorganizing software engineering organizations to achieve cost efficiency improvements. Vito will use rich technology acumen to develop superior reusable solutions and drive revenue improvements, quick time-to-market products, solutions, and services.
