Stan Kubis serves as the Chief Information Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. In this capacity, he is responsible for IT strategy and developing sponsor partnerships to support improvements in organizational capability and the services provided to Clubs and youth.

BGCA is the largest network of facility-based youth development organizations in the world with 1,100 affiliates operating nearly 4,000 Clubs throughout the nation and on U.S. military installations worldwide.

With a combined staff of more than 50,000 full- and part-time employees and some 200,000 board and program volunteers, the organization annually serves nearly 4 million children and teens through Club membership and community outreach.  Club programs help young people achieve academic success and healthy lifestyles, develop good character, and engage in citizenship and public service.

Previously, Kubis was responsible for Global IT Solutions strategy and direction, and led North American IT Solutions for Plexus Corp., a contract electronics manufacturer in Neenah, WI.  His scope of responsibilities included business operations systems (ERP, Shop Floor, Product Management, and Finance), B2B/EDI, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Productivity and Collaboration (e.g. SharePoint, portals, workflow, unified communications), Application Integration and Service Desk.

Kubis spent twenty-two years with Kimberly-Clark Corp., a consumer products company, in a variety of global roles.  In his last assignment, Kubis started the IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture services and developed IT’s strategic planning process and global IT plan.  Prior to that, Kubis ran global Application Hosting services.  He has extensive international experience, having lived in London, UK and Bangkok, Thailand where he led EMEA Technology Services and started the Asia/Pacific IT organization.

Kubis began his career with Andersen Consulting, in New York City and Atlanta, where he worked for eight years on a number of large consulting engagements in a variety of sectors.
A native of the New York City area, Kubis earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in Accounting from St. John’s University in New York.  He is married with two children, and lives in Roswell, GA.
