Louise Scott is Southern Company vice president and regional chief information officer for Georgia Power. In her role, Scott oversees the development and implementation of information technology strategy and operations. She also oversees technology execution for the distribution organization at Southern Company.
Scott began her career at Southern Company in 1995 and has served in a variety of leadership roles at Georgia Power, including director of the customer care center, distribution manager for the metro west region, manager of the distribution control center and manager of workforce planning.
A native of Gloversville, N.Y., Scott received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in studio art from the State University of New York. She has also completed the Goizueta executive program at Emory University and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School executive accounting and finance program.
