His career demonstrates the ability to lead large organizations and cross-functional teams in analyzing and simplifying business challenges, developing sound action plans, and accomplishing their execution.

Dan played a key role during his seven year tenure at Matria Healthcare in supporting its growth and development into a $500 million comprehensive, integrated wellness and disease management organization. Serving initially as Director, Business Process Analysis, his contributions included leading complete replacement of all call center and systems technology infrastructure of Matria’s Diabetes Self Care business division, and multi-site installation of leading-edge CRM, ERP, middleware and medical billing systems. As Vice President of Enterprise Communications, Dan served as a catalyst for complex systems change across divisions, completely reorganizing and establishing processes for IT operations enterprise-wide. The IT infrastructure implemented by his team provided support for the growing organization’s massive processing, storage, and backup requirements.

Later Dan served as Vice President of Technology Project Management to further aid Matria in meeting its major growth challenges through centralization of project disciplines and establishment of a Technology Project Office. While managing 100+ concurrent application development, technical infrastructure, and data ingest technology projects, he led the development of best practice methodologies, processes, and systems across all technology project management, quality assurance, technical documentation, and change management initiatives.

Finally, as Vice President of IT Professional Services, he led creation of and managed a new IT Professional Services organization, as he participated in the merging of the entire organization and three new acquisitions into common time reporting, development, quality assurance workflow, project management, and change management processes.Previous career accomplishments demonstrate his strong blend of technology expertise and business acumen.

Serving as Chief Operating Officer for MRXOnline, he played an instrumental role in business plan development, capitalization, strategic and tactical planning, organization, operations and IT infrastructure development for this company’s Web-based practice management system. As a Manager with Deloitte & Touche, Dan applied his technical project management and business development capabilities to lead a variety of large-scale CRM and marketing automation projects for the Enterprise Application Integration Group of one of the world’s largest professional services firms.Prior to his time in the Big 4 Consulting environment Dan led several IT operational turnarounds and complex system and technology migrations and implementations for National Data Corporation.

His early career included work in operations and IT management for a national healthcare data processing service provider and two airlines.Dan holds an M.S. in Management of Technology and a B.S. in Industrial Management from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
